Fashion United - New retail concept The Kingdom to open in Calabasas
A new luxury boutique is coming to California this summer. Opening in June, The Kingdom is set as a new premier retail store.
The storefront will have an ethereal design, influenced by the boutique’s name. With the idea of a glamorous fantasy space, Ballentine Architects Studio will be in charge of the 1,400 square foot store. The store’s interior details will consists of crystal chandeliers, herringbone oak floors, marble and more upscale décor according to WWD. “The Kingdom really represents a different kind of world,” co-founder Jason Salstein told the publication. “The world that I’m creating is a mix of luxury fantasy [but] at the same time, we want to resonate with high-end customers.”
The boutique will be set in Calabasas in Southern California. The store will carry trendy pieces including both womenswear and menswear. Brands that will be retailed at the store include Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Gucci, Proenza Schouler, Manolo Blahnik, Balmain, and more as reported by WWD. The store’s soft opening is set for June 1, with an official grand opening on June 10.
